Sheryl Pickens, Principal & Cofounder

Career Highlights:

Sheryl’s career focus for the past 38 years has been in commercial real estate as an independent broker/entrepreneurial executive in leasing, sales, marketing, and new business development, representing various private, investment and institutional third-party ownerships of major high rise office buildings, as well as third party tenant representation. Sheryl’s creative and motivational management style results in successfully identifying opportunities through unique sales and marketing strategies. Sheryl is or has served in leadership positions in various corporate and community organizations throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington, TX Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Professional Experience:

Sheryl began her commercial real estate career with Trammell Crow Company in 1980 and continued to grow her career path with companies such as, Criswell Development; Kelley Lundeen & Crawford, Askew Commercial; and ultimately, Transwestern Commercial Services, where she remained for 15 years as Senior Vice President specializing in Dallas’ CBD and Uptown markets. In 2008, she left the industry to focus on family, missionary and community volunteer work. In January, 2013, Sheryl formed a partnership with Brenda Ridnour, Principals and Cofounders of PickensRidnour, L.P., a commercial real estate company specializing in tenant advisory services. However, between April, 2017 and May, 2019, Sheryl and Brenda put their company on hold to serve as part of the leadership team for Truss Holdings, Inc., a Chicago based start-up hi-tech CRE Brokerage Firm. Since May, 2019, Sheryl and Brenda have relaunched PickensRidnour, L.P. with aggressive goals to implement innovative technology that will enhance clientele services.
