Lynn Drake, president and founder of Compass Commercial / ITRA Global, has been named an Entrepreneur of Distinction by Corp! Magazine, based in Warren, Michigan. The magazine recognizes those individuals who are committed to entrepreneurial success with its annual Michigan Entrepreneurs of Distinction Awards.
To achieve this designation, Drake had to articulate impressive business activity, background and values as well as illustrate major accomplishments, special skills and innovative approaches. Well known in the industry as a commercial realtor, Drake is focused on maintaining "true north" for her corporate clients.
Her reputation has been built on 20 years of commercial real estate experience and expertise in corporate and institutional workplace design, planning and project implementation. She has worked hard to succeed in a heavily male-dominated industry. In addition to being in an elite group of 5 percent of the females practicing Commercial Real Estate, Drake has not only survived a major recession, she also found an opportunity to open her own firm.
