Peggy Gallagher has spent over twenty-four years working in corporate real estate.  As the founder of PG Commercial Real Estate Inc. in 1997, she is the owner of one of only a handful of tenant/buyer representation firms currently operating in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Region. Peggy established the first women-owned commercial real estate brokerage firm dedicated to representing Tenants and Buyers in the Philadelphia area. 

Prior to establishing PG Commercial Real Estate Inc., Peggy was an associate broker with High Associates, the commercial real estate subsidiary of High Industries.  Before this position, Peggy was an associate broker at Seneca Roach.  She also held the position of Director of Marketing at Heffernan and Partners, owners and developers of Babylon Business Campus. Prior posts include associate at Georgetown Associates, and at Reed and Stambaugh.  Peggy has experience representing the landlord’s interests in structuring and negotiating new leases, but has always favored the position of representing Tenants and Buyers of commercial property.  PG Commercial Real Estate specializes in Conflict Free Tenant/Buyer Representation primarily for office and industrial properties.

Peggy holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation. CCIM is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. Based in Chicago, The CCIM Institute is an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Peggy has an active broker’s license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the LaSalle University in 1989.

Following are a few interesting facts about Philadelphia and its commercial real estate market…

  • A.K.A. Greater Philadelphia, or the Delaware Valley Region, consisting of nine counties – five counties (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia) in Pennsylvania, and four counties (Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer) in New Jersey.  Some statistics vary the counties and include as many as eleven counties as part of the region.
  • The total 2010 population for the region is 6.4 million people, making it the country’s fifth largest metro area.
  • Completed in 1932, Pennsylvania Savings Fund Society (PSFS) building is regarded as the first International Style Skyscraper built in the United States.
  • The City of Philadelphia is 2nd in the world in the amount of Public Art, 2nd only to Pari France.
  • Green City – Philadelphia has the largest urban park system in the world.
  • Philadelphia is a centerpiece of early American history.  It was in this city that many of the ideas, and subsequent actions, gave birth to the American Revolution and American Independence.
