CEO and Founder Nick McCalmont-Woods is a Chartered Surveyor with over 40 years’ experience representing corporate occupiers

Nick McCalmont-Woods joined international real estate consultants Jones Lang Wootton in London in 1984 specialising initially in Landlord & Tenant and various property-related tax matters before transferring to the firm’s City of London offices agency team, advising both landlords and tenants, becoming a Partner in 1995. After 16 years with JLW (by then Jones Lang LaSalle) he joined GVA Grimley to help grow its London City office. He did so and was made Equity Partner in 2001. In addition to leading GVA’s City Offices and Central London Offices agency team, he co-founded GVA Connect, a successful data-centre advisory business.

Since establishing McCalmont-Woods in early 2008, he has concluded lease contracts worth £260+ million and negotiated more than £65 million in cost savings for a broad mix of corporate office occupiers, ranging from early growth start-ups to leading global brands.

He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an international member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (European Chapter) and serves on the Board of ITRA Global. In London, he co-founded The Tenant Representation Advisors Society as a forum for training and education to promote excellence in tenant representation. He has been a member of FIDES for over ten years, a trusted independent network providing bespoke services and holistic solutions for financial organisations and their stakeholders.
