Gordon Rasmussen earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1971.  He began his career in commercial real estate in 1973, with an emphasis on buyer representation for the acquisition of income producing investment properties.  He earned the National Association of Realtor’s prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1979.

In 1991, Mr. Rasmussen relocated from Tucson to Phoenix, and joined Grubb & Ellis in the investment properties division.  In 1994, he began to develop his skills in office and industrial tenant representation, and has negotiated numerous leases for Verizon Wireless and New York Stock Exchange companies such as Southwest Gas Corporation and Colonial Properties Trust.

In 2004, the CEO of Southwest Gas writes, “During the last 15 years, Gordon Rasmussen of Martin Property Advisors has successfully completed numerous real estate consulting and brokerage assignments for Southwest Gas Corporation. Mr. Rasmussen was instrumental in the renegotiation of the lease for our corporate headquarters in Las Vegas.  His expertise was pivotal in the consummation of an extremely complex transaction, and the deal was closed with no surprises. Mr. Rasmussen’s fundamental approach to tenant and buyer representation begins with a thorough understanding of his client’s objectives, and then followed by the process of aligning these goals with the current realities of the real estate market place.  He never promises a “miracle”, but always delivers fiduciary representation coupled with comprehensive analysis and recommendations.

Mr. Rasmussen is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Arizona and California. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of ITRA Global, as well as serving as a member of the Global Marketing Committee.
